Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that the Canadian Women’s carding camp will take place from April 10-13 at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, B.C.A total of 12 athletes will take part in the four-day camp, including eight members of the Paralympic team, which represented Canada at the 2020 Games. Captains Arinn Young (Legal, Alta.) and Cindy Ouellet (Quebec City, Que.) will be among the camp participants.The purpose of this camp is for athletes to get assessed and awarded their cards for the year. The top Canadian athletes from the national team pool receive funding through the Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) for the season.
