Wheelchair Basketball Canada: Roster Announced for Canadian Men’s Carding Camp

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 22 athletes have been invited to attend the Canadian Men’s carding camp, March 21-25, at WBC’s National Training Centre. All 12 athletes that represented Canada at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics will be in attendance, including captains Nik Goncin (Regina, Sask.), Robert Hedges (Wonowon, B.C.), and five-time Paralympian Pat Anderson (Edmonton, Alta.).The purpose of this camp is for athletes to get assessed and awarded their cards for the year. The top Canadian athletes from the national team pool receive funding through the Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) for the season.
