The game was electric throughout and was by far the most competitive game at the European Championships so far.
In the first half, the game was immensely close as both teams were neck-and-neck however, in the second half Germany’s shots dropped and GB just couldn’t find a reply. This showed as both Katarina Lang and Mareike Miller both had 22 points personal.
In their semi final rematch GB need to be more consistent with shots and stop Germany from hook passing the ball precisely into their half. If you’re Germany you need to further facilitate players like Lang and Miller and keep doing an excellent job of breaking down the GB defence. Final result: 61:48.
