Wheelchair Basketball Canada: Twenty-three athletes to participate in NextGen Camp in Toronto

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced 23 athletes will participate in the NextGen Camp from July 7-9 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre in Toronto.
 
Led by Men’s Under-23 head coach Darrell Nordell, the NextGen Camp will introduce athletes to Wheelchair Basketball Canada’s High Performance Program. Athletes will receive instruction on technical and tactical skills. Additionally, the camp will allow athletes to compete against the top Junior-aged wheelchair basketball players in the country.
 
“This camp will help our high performance team identify NextGen athletes and athletes for the Women’s Under-25 program and Men’s Under-23 Team,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The NextGen Camp is an excellent opportunity to introduce new players to our program and for the athletes to work on skill development.”
